Sharing the Blame: Is it my SEO applications or is it Google?

I admit. Prior to finding out about SEO software and site promotion business, I considered that Google was incredible. I Googled anything from people, to visuals, to news stories to weird things and naively trusted the search outcomes. Then I found out about SEO applications and an emerging field centered on site promotion, and my convictions were never the same. But even before that, after doing some reflective reading, I got a hunch that search engines, Google included, know far from all, and pass on to the users a fraction of that.

My search experiences soon persuaded me that Flikr is a better image search source, that with the assistance of feeds I can have great current events coverage without having to rummage through Google search results (rummaging is more fitting than Google search), and people search is better handled by Facebook. It seems like every time I look for odd gadgets on Google, the results are often inaccurate, to put it kindly. Try Googling for SEO applications and other SEO related themes on Google and you are almost prepared to give up your self-control. I mean, tell me, what’s the connection between SEO software and career webpages or online casinos? Turns out in my frustrations.

So when news of free link building software and the whole field revolving around it came into my modest worldview, my qualms about webpages surfacing out on P1 of Google grew manifold. Do they merit to show up on there and whose fault is it, Google or webmasters using SEO tools. The moral dilemma is vast. Do I quit using my SEO keyword ranking tool or do I seize using Google instead? I resolved that I can’t boycott Google just yet. At least not till the worthy competitor enters the picture. For now I will keep juggling between Blekko, Google and the above methods to complement the SERP mess that Google is. And, oh,yes, I will keep using my SEO products.

Frankly, SEO applications is the reason why guys like me get discovered on the net. intelligent as they are, Google web bots are not likely to find some little dude and rank his site well. In this regard, I still am a strong advocate of SEO software and organic search. If it was all about the money, the Fortune businesses would squish me before I knew it. And there are hundreds of companies on the Fortune list! But here is something else that irks me and other backlinks checker users, I am confident. There are guys who invest in SEO apps and use them to sell dresseson career sites and such. What we are given is junk that not only pervades the Internet but is also highly ranked by search engines.

What is the user reaction to this? People search for SEO app reviews and will instead find disconnected search findings. They get disenchanted. So much for the “Internet justice”. Does this indicate that SEO program and service industry is harmful? Not necessarily.

The unethical users of SEO software have to stop corrupting the Web but it’s like asking hackers to stop cracking the code. The unfortunate thing about it is that black hat SEOs are overusing the prospect to be noticeable on the Internet that is available to the no-name guy like me. For now people just have to live with them. One can only hope that Google will put more emphasis on catching the schemers unethically using SEO programs, and if Google doesn’t, the new Google will.
